J.T.F Taekwondo: WNC's only school taught by a 9th degree black belt Grandmaster

Grandmaster Robert Dunn

You will not find a Taekwondo school in western North Carolina (WNC) taught by a higher rank than Grandmaster Robert Dunn. A grandmaster represents the highest level that can be achieved within the martial art of Taekwondo. The rank is senior to a "master," who is senior to "instructor." To reach the level of grandmaster (GM), depending on the particular Taekwondo association, one is looking at least 40-45+ years to achieve the rank of 9th degree (dan) black belt. It is estimated that there are less than 300 Taekwondo grandmasters globally.

In addition to holding a 9th Dan Blackbelt, Grandmaster Robert Dunn is the founder of both the IJTF (International Jun Tong Taekwondo Federation) and the JTF (Jun Tong Taekwondo Federation). GM Dunn has taught internationally and trained alongside the likes of Chuck Norris, Bill Wallace, Steven Seagal and others. He has won numerous awards, including an induction into the Taekwondo Hall of Fame, being in the Who's Who in Martial Arts Hall of Fame, the Black Belt Hall of Fame, as well as having been featured in several Martial Arts books & magazines.

Whether you are already a serious student of Taekwondo and wish to progress to the highest possible level or are just starting out as a brand new student and want to learn Taekwondo the right way, right from the beginning, you won't find any one more qualified to teach Taekwondo than GM Dunn.
